“Whole Mango” : Vitamin D3
Did you know that vitamin D is more of a hormone than a vitamin?
Protects the heart: Because this vitamin regulates blood sugar, it contributes to general health as well as heart health.
Strengthens bones: Vitamin D3 affects bone growth and health, and prevents the risk of fractures and osteoporosis.
Reduces the risk of cancer: Especially colon, prostate and breast cancer.
Preserves memory: The brain needs vitamin D3 in order to function properly.
Strengthens immunity: Vitamin D3 helps cells fight inflammation and infections.
Lowers blood pressure: This vitamin plays a major role in regulating blood pressure.
D3 is primarily a secosteroid hormone produced in the skin from 7-dehydrocholesterol after exposing the skin to ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation. This hormone is important for maintaining normal bone health, and the deficiency causes rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Hypovitaminosis D also causes low bone mineral density. Decreased bioavailability may occur due to altered absorption of vitamin D from the small intestine or due to altered metabolism of vitamin D in the body. Intestinal malabsorption disorders may cause a decrease in vitamin D absorption due to decreased lipid absorption capacity. Vitamin D3 – the basic, for humans the key function of vitamin D3 in the body is to maintain optimal levels of calcium and phosphorus. These key elements are absorbed in the small intestine and the level of their concentration affects the quality:
– regulation of cellular processes
– regulation of neuromuscular function
Recommendation for consumption:
-We recommend two lozenges a day, with a brand new, creamy-sour taste of coconut cream and ripe mango with vitamin D3 in a concentration of 400 IU.
– The same recommended dose of 2 lozenges is valid for adults and children older than 3 years.
Vitamin D3 is the most common and most available type of vitamin D. In addition to being found in food, it is mostly found in sunlight on the skin. Although this vitamin is essential for many bodily functions, many people do not get enough of it, especially during winter. Recent studies have shown that one billion people suffer from vitamin D deficiency.
